Our Staff

Dr. Jodi L. Nichols

IMG_1776Dr. Jodi Nichols is a local from Holt (just North of Shalimar) and a graduate of Baker High School. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree at University of West Florida, and in 2009 received her DVM at Auburn University. Early on, her interests included volleyball and competitive horse events. Dr. Nichols realized at an early age that she wanted to be a veterinarian so that she would have access to medicine and technology that could help animals.

Over the last several years, she has worked at three other small/large animal practices to gain experience and knowledge to one day obtain her goal of owning her own practice. In February 2014 her goal was achieved when she purchased Brightman Pet Clinic.

She is known for the quiet and loving care she shows to the patients, and is meticulous in her care for sick animals. Some even call her the “Chihuahua Whisperer”!

At home, Dr. Nichols has her hands full with two Australian Cattle Dogs (“Tooti” and “Tina”), two Chihuahuas (“Bindi” and “Tanner”), a Spaniel (“Max”) and “Robert” her cat. These six trouble makers make it interesting to go home and see what adventures they have had during the day!

Tracey L. Dollar, Office Manager

traceyphotoPulled from retirement, Tracey Dollar has come in with Dr. Nichols as the Office Manager. She is a local from Baker and enjoys working on the farm with her husband Jack.

They have a group of animals that include: 4 horses, 5 dogs, 10 cats, a goat herd of 7, and of course several chickens. She enjoys planting a garden, reading, teaching children’s church, and thinks she would enjoy their camper if she had time to take off to go fishing. Oh, and did we mention, she loves animals!

Kelley Stidham, Receptionist

IMG_1805Kelley is our own “Ms. Personality” as you will realize when you meet her and that is why she is the first face you will see. With her extensive veterinary office experience, she has come to our office and hit the ground running. She doesn’t meet a stranger and she makes friends quickly with both our four and two legged clients.

When Kelley is not busy at the office, her special loves at home are her husband Brandon, and her son Colton. Her family is heavily involved with horses and they oversee the youth at their cowboy church with “Roping the Truth Ministries”. She has seven horses, four dogs, three cats and let us not forget “Pedro” their miniature donkey! When does she have time to work you might ask?

Pollie Anna Lee, Technician/Receptionist

pollie-IMG_1804Pollie was born in California as a Navy brat, grew up in Norfolk Virginia, and came to Florida in 2000 with her daughter Mandie, (who now calls Tampa her home). Pollie resides in Navarre and loves fishing, boating, and the beach. Indoor fun includes bowling and painting. She has a cat named Itty Bitty who brings her much happiness. She started in the Veterinary field in 2001 and enjoys the challenges it can bring.

desk-formsMarianne Bramlett, Receptionist

Marianne was born and raised in the area and now lives in Basin Bayou with her significant other.  She has  2 daughters, 3 dogs, 2 bearded dragons, cat, old world chameleon, and an African tortoise. She spends all of her time with her family and enjoys fishing and being out doors. She has always had a passion for animals and has enjoyed working in a vet clinic since 2009.  Marianne has been working at Brightman Pet Clinic since July 2015 as our part-time receptionist.

As with many great business leaders, O’Malley arose from very humble beginnings – out behind the dumpster.  Climbing through the ranks with his laid back management style, he is by far the most requested professional on our staff.  He has been our beloved general office manager since the clinic’s inception in 2003.  He can usually be contacted for info either in his office (the clinic restroom) or spread-eagle on the clinic waiting room floor.

O’Malley’s protege, Tony, is the latest addition to the Brightman Pet Clinic staff and he aspires to be Assistant Manager under O’Malley’s tutelage.  Currently mastering the grueling skills as a desk paperweight and occasional paper shredder, he is obviously destined for greatness.  His background is a bit shady; he just showed up one day.  We’re thinking Witness Protection Program.
