A comprehensive physical exam is performed on all new patients and every patient before vaccinations are administered. We recommend every pet, regardless of age, be examined twice yearly. A comprehensive blood profile is recommended on all animals yearly, especially those over 6 years of age.
We perform routine procedures such as spays, neuters, and dental cleanings Tuesday through Thursday of each week. Improvement in diagnostic and surgical techniques are made possible by endoscopy methods. Advanced surgeries, such as orthopedic surgeries, are regularly performed as well. Pre-anesthetic blood work is recommended on all surgical patients to assist the doctor in making sure anesthesia is safe for your pet. All surgical patients receive extensive monitoring while under anesthesia.
We use digital x-ray capabilities to help with diagnosis.
We recommend each animal begin vaccinations at around 6 weeks of age. Vaccination protocols may vary based upon the individual animal; these specifics will be discussed with you at the time of your visit.
Our veterinarian at Brightman Pet Clinic is USDA accredited and therefore capable of providing the necessary health certificates for your companion animal’s travel.
